Teatro Micaelense

The Azorean International Film Festival will be hosted at the most emblematic venue in São Miguel island: Teatro Micaelense.

 

Located in downtown Ponta Delgada, this venue was originally built in 1951, designed by the renowned architect Raul Rodrigues de Lima, a specialist in cinema and theater rooms.

 

Teatro Micaelense's main auditorium has 745 seats and is equipped with the most modern audiovisual, telecommunications and simultaneous translation equipment, including a DCP projection system.
