The Azorean International Film Festival will take place on December 13th-21st of 2025 and Janurary 20th-25th at Teatro Micaelense, in São Miguel, Azores, Portugal.
The festival integrates an international competition, workshops, networking events, talks, afterparties, all in a paradisiac setting in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
The Venue
Teatro Micaelense's main auditorium has 745 seats and is equipped with the most modern audiovisual, telecommunications and simultaneous translation equipment, including a DCP projection system.
Located downtown Ponta Delgada, this venue was originally built in 1951, designed by the renowned architect Raul Rodrigues de Lima, a specialist in cinema and theater rooms.
